Coalition Against Antisemitism at Northwestern (CAAN) is a community of Jewish and non-Jewish Northwestern University stakeholders committed to eradicating antisemitism at Northwestern.

We stand firmly against all forms of discriminatory conduct, including harassment based on Jewish tradition, faith, culture, history, peoplehood, and special connection to the Land of Israel and the State of Israel.

We believe in the power of education as a catalyst for change and aim to cultivate a campus culture that celebrates differences and encourages open and constructive dialogue.

We seek to empower students, faculty, and staff to challenge stereotypes, confront bias, and build bridges of understanding.

Working together, we will improve the campus environment and make Northwestern University safe for Jewish students again.
